Yes, Acupuncture can help with anxiety and depression. Here are just a few things to look for if you suspect you have a problem with anxiety or depression:
Anxiety:
- Racing heart
- Feeling stressed out
- Not able to focus
- Head feeling fuzzy or foggy
- Spontaneous sweating
- Increased agitation
- Trouble sleeping
- Chest pain or tightness
- Excess energy
- Feeling like you can not relax
- Flushed face or skin
- Nervous energy
- Trouble having coherent thoughts
Depression:
- Feeling sad or down for an extended period of time
- Don’t want to get out of bed
- Low energy
- Low drive to do anything
- Fatigue
- Trouble sleeping
- Crying frequently for no reason
- Not understanding why you just don’t feel well

I am taking medication for my anxiety/depression, can acupuncture still help?
Yes, acupuncture can help. Often Acupuncture can help you to feel more stabilized on the medication, or could help you to need a lower dose. Either way, acupuncture can help. It can also help with some of the side effects that come from medications that you are taking.
I don’t feel like I have anxiety or depression bad enough for medication. Could acupuncture help in this situation?
Yes, Acupuncture can help. Often acupuncture can get you over the hump and get you feeling like yourself again.
